Roberta Falkner

Roberta Falkner was born in Brisbane. She spent her childhood in Melbourne & Zurich, Switzerland. In 1966 she moved with her family to Perth, Western Australia. She studied painting at the West Australian Institute of Technology, where here teachers were Margaret Woodward, Mac Betts & Douglas Chamber. In 1973 she graduated with an Associateship in Fine Art. In 1974 she was awarded a West Australian Arts Council bursary to do postgraduate studies in painting in Florence, Italy and went on to spend three years living & painting in Northern Italy. Between 1988 & 2001 she lived in Spain, mostly in Toledo & Madrid returning regularly to Australia to exhibit. Roberta in now living in Perth & travelling regularly to Europe. There she spends time visiting Galleries, taking part in Ballet classes, and going to performances of The Paris Opera Ballet.
