I have had extensive experience in the field of Public Art prior to locating to the South West region permanently in 2003. I was also on the board of the WA Crafts Council for 8 years and the Mundaring Arts Council for 3 years. Many of these projects involved combining my work with the work of artists from other disciplines including metal workers, landscape artists and other tradesmen.

The list of achievements include a wall mural at Technology Park CRA building, Eastern Hills Aquatic Centre, Ellenbrook City underpass Installation. TVW Child research institute PMH, Mundaring Shire Precinct, Burswood, Helena College and other smaller projects.

During this period I was involved in lecturing in the field of Ceramics and CeramicTechnology at Midland TAFE and Ceramic Technology at Curtin University. I was involved as a selector for various Art awards from exhibitions conducted at both these campuses.

I have researched and studied in the Arts for 35 years, experimenting and mastering a number of different mediums, including textiles, painting, ceramics and in a new venture, I am expanding my work into the medium of kiln formed glass. Much of my work has included an amalgamation of these mediums into new and exciting forms and compositions.

For me Art is intrinsic part of life. It is an important element of society, providing a means of developing a higher level thinking, and awareness of the world in which we engage.
