My aim is to convey what I find interesting in a landscape. I don’t intend to achieve a topographical representation but more of an impression. It’s lyrical qualities, it’s colour , patterns and shapes. I use the landscape as a springboard for a painting.

Became a Master Handcolourist for "Editions Alecto", a fine art etching studio. In conjunction with the Natural History Museum in London, worked on their project to edition the complete , original etching plates of the “Banks Florilegium”, the botanical study made by Joseph Banks on his voyages with Captain Cook. Only a small sample of these etching plates had ever been printed and this was the first time many of them had been seen since their conception over two hundred years ago. A collection of these etchings are on permanent display at the Museum of Australia, Canberra and displayed along the corridors of the Parliament House in Canberra.
Subsequently, went on to work on the re-edition of six of the original etching plates from Audubon’s “Birds of America” from the nineteenth century. A copy of this title had reached fame in 1984 for having made the record for being the most expensive book in the world at auction . This new project was a collaboration between the studio and the Natural History Museum in New York .
1990 became a Resident Artist at the Kew Studios, London.
Moved to Yallingup in 1994 with her Australian husband and three daughters.
